The Workforce Board welcomes higher education agencies, occupational training providers, employers, community-based organizations and private entities to submit applications to become Eligible Training Providers with the Virgin Islands Workforce Development System.
The VI Demand Occupation List provides the Industry and Occupations within the Territory that show those occupations that are continually hard to fill in the local labor market.
To be identified as a provider of service, eligible to receive funds for the provision of training services to the Virgin Islands Workforce Development Area, such individual or entity shall be:
WIOA requires that each local area must maintain a list of eligible training providers and their eligible training programs. The list must be accompanied by relevant performance and cost information and must be made widely available in order to maximize informed consumer choice and serve all significant population groups.
After reviewing the Training Provider Background Information, individuals or organizations interested in becoming training providers and who are new to the Workforce System should complete the Initial Application and submit it to the Workforce Development Board for review.
Individuals or organizations interested in Customized Training or Incumbent Worker Training should contact the Workforce Board for additional information.
